Trava-Línguas em Inglês

Os trava-línguas (Tongue-Twisters) são muito interessantes, pois com eles você pode praticar sua pronúncia de uma forma divertida. Mas, já imaginou pronunciar alguns trava-línguas em inglês? Confira agora uma lista com vários trava-línguas em inglês, para que você possa aprimorar sua pronúncia inglesa. Eles estão divididos em 3 dificuldades: Fácil, Médio e Difícil.

Dificuldade – Fácil:

1. Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.

2. She sells sea shells by the sea shore.

3. A sailor went to sea to see what he could see.

4. Give papa a cup of proper coffee in a copper coffee cup.

5. A noisy noise annoys an oyster.

6. Shy Shelly says she shall sew sheets.

7. Five fine fresh fish for you!

8. The jumbo juggler juggles the jelly in the jug.

9. If a dog chews shoes, whose shoes does he choose?

10. The worst word in the world is the word world.

11. Fat frogs flying past fast.

12. Six silly sisters selling shiny shoes.

13. An Ape hates grape cakes.

14. Six Swiss ships sails swiftly.

15. How many bagels would a Beagle bake if a Beagle could bake bagels?

16. Six slippery snails slid slowly seaward.

17. We surely shall see the sun shine soon.

Dificuldade – Médio:

1. Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
So where is the pack of pickled peppers?
Peter Piper picked.

2. She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
The sea shells she sells are sea shells she is sure.

3. A sailor went to sea to see what he could see.
And all he could see was sea, sea, sea.

4. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

5. Betty bought a bit of butter but the butter Betty bough was bitter
so Betty bought another bit of butter to made the bitter butter better butter.

6. A big black bug bit a big black bear and made the big black bear bleed blood.

7. Six sleek swans swam swiftly southwards.

8. Who washed Washington’s white woolen underwear
when Washington’s washerwoman went west?

9. If you tell Tom to tell a tongue-twister,
his tongue will be twisted as tongue-twister twists tongues.

10. If a canner can can ten cans a day, how many cans can ten canners can today?

11. While we were walking, we were watching window washers
wash Washington’s windows with warm washing water.

12. Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager
imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?

Dificuldade – Difícil:

1. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

2. She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I’m sure she sells seashore shells.

3. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

4. Betty Botter had some butter,
“But,” she said, “this butter’s bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter-
that would make my batter better.”
So she bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So ’twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

So it is better to be Shott than Nott.
Some say Nott was not shot.
But Shott says he shot Nott.
Either the shot Shott shot at Nott was not shot.

11. You’ve no need to light a night-light
On a light night like tonight,
For a night-light’s light’s a slight light,
And tonight’s a night that’s light.
When a night’s light, like tonight’s light,
It is really not quite right
To light night-lights with their slight lights
On a light night like tonight.

12. Through three cheese trees three free fleas flew.

Freezy breeze made these three trees freeze.
Freezy trees made these trees’ cheese freeze.
That’s what made these three free fleas sneeze.
